Peru 2012
- “The Team”
We are a team of believers from Hope Church, who are so honored and blessed to be going on a upcoming mission trip to Peru. We are so excited to serve the Lord by serving Peruvian people! Our prayer is that we would be a blessing to the people of Peru, and that we would we would be obedient to the Lord’s leading as we serve Him!!
Our mission trip will be June 14th-June 26th, 2012. We will be evangelizing, doing community outreach, showing the movie “Courageous” to the community, doing puppet shows for the children, and doing construction work on the sanctuary of the Church in Chepen.

Please pray for our team as we prepare for our mission. Please pray that the Lord would do a work in our hearts and draw us even nearer to Him, that we would have team unity, and that the Lord would also prepare the hearts of all those we will minister to in Peru.
Below are verses that inspire us to do the work we are doing. The Great Commission is what drives us to be going out and sharing the word:
Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, ” All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
ACTS 8 : 4 “Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.”
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:9-10
